This website has been created to provide ease of communication between unit owners, their
guests, the public, and the Association.
Sorrento at The Colony is a twenty-one story condominium in The Colony, a gated community
within Pelican Landing, located approximately three miles west of Interstate 75 in Estero,
Florida. The building provides panoramic views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico from
Bonita Beach to Fort Myers Beach, The Colony golf course, lakes, and preserves surrounding
Estero Bay. Sorrento was built by WCI Communities and turned over to the original unit
owners on November 28, 2001. Sorrento has a total of 72 units, fifteen of which are
penthouse units.
Sorrento unit owners are members of the Sorrento at The Colony Condominium Association,
Inc., the Pelican Landing Community Association, Inc. (the master association), The Colony at
Pelican Landing Foundation, Inc., The Colony / The Bay Club and the Bayside Community
Improvement District / Pelican Landing. In addition, they have the option of obtaining various
types of membership in The Colony Golf and Country Club.
Membership in The Colony and Pelican Landing includes use of a private Beach Park on the
Gulf, two canoe / kayak parks, a sailing center, bocce courts, and the many facilities of the
Pelican Landing Community Center.
